Em partículas de sabedoria e conhecimento, vindo se revelar na Bahia-Brasil em sua forma mais completa e original. Transformando-se e crescendo como a maré, espalhando-se da África para a Bahia. Da Bahia para o Brasil. Do Brasil para Indiana e pro resto do mundo. Eu, Mestre Iuri Hart Santos, trago humildemente, neste primeiro cd de Capoeira Angola, uma tentativa de mostrar o equilíbrio entre o antigo e novo, o espiritual e o profano, o sério e o descontraído.
Quero aqui, deixar um grande agradecimento a meu Mestre e a todos os Mestres de Capoeira Angola da Bahia, que influenciaram e continuam influenciando no meu parco conhecimento sobre a arte ancestral da Capoeira Angola.

Capoeira Angola, an ancestral and popular art, carried across the Atlantic, inside the belly of the slave ships. In particles of wisdom and knowledge, coming to reveal itself in Bahia-Brazil in its most complete and original form. Transforming and growing like the tide, spreading from Africa to Bahia. From Bahia to Brazil. From Brazil to Indiana and to the rest of the world. I, Mestre Iuri Hart Santos, humbly bring, in this first CD of Capoeira Angola, an attempt to show the balance between the old and the new, the playful and the profane, the serious and the relaxed.
I would like to thank my Mestre and all the Mestres of Capoeira Angola of Bahia who have influenced and continue to influence my lack of knowledge about the ancestral art of Capoeira Angola.
